The workshop was structured into four main parts:
Part 1: Departmental Improvement Presentations
Part 2: Production Planning (Productivity, Quality, and Training)
Part 3: 2013 Haivina Golden Bell Quiz
Part 4: Awards Ceremony
Each department prepared meticulously for this long-awaited workshop over several months. So, how did all that effort shine on the day? Let’s dive into the vibrant scene of this successful workshop!
Let's Go!
A Grand Opening
The workshop began with a warm welcome and congratulatory message from Executive Director Mr. Kim Hyung-soo, who looked especially dashing that day.
The first segment featured presentations from various production departments. Each presentation was delivered by a Vietnamese manager and interpreted by a Korean expatriate.

“Excellent... The managers have grown so much! The future of Hyunjin is bright.”
Part 2 featured two presentations from the Production Planning Office: one by staff member Park Jong-eun on productivity improvement, and another by junior manager Kim Bo-won focusing on education and quality.
While the content itself was outstanding, the real highlight of this segment was that both presentations were delivered entirely in Tiếng Việt (Vietnamese).
In preparation for the workshop, Kim Bo-won and Park Jong-eun dedicated weeks of relentless effort to master their Vietnamese presentations.
Let’s take a look at the photos to see the results of their hard work.
“Xin Cảm ơn!”
Staff member Park Jong-eun kicked off the presentations with her very first
speech in Vietnamese—a nerve-wracking moment indeed.
“Ke hoach nam
~~~&*#$(%~~~!!!”
Though initially a bit nervous, Park quickly gained confidence and delivered
her presentation fluently.
While the audience might not have understood every word, it was clear she did an excellent job. (In fact, the Korean PPT was displayed on the screen to the right, helping everyone follow along.)
Bo-won Kim, addressing training and quality initiatives.
“I’m the Vietnamese master!”
Deputy Manager Haing watched proudly, cheering, “Cảm ơn rất nhiều!”
Next up was junior manager Kim Bo-won from the Production Planning Office, who appeared as if delivering presentations in Vietnamese was second nature.
Kim’s skillful delivery, even sprinkling in jokes in Vietnamese, had the managers bursting into laughter
“I am Kim Bo-won!” she confidently posed, as the managers listened intently.
Her Vietnamese was truly impressive!
After each presentation, Executive Director Kim Hyung-soo stood to give a standing ovation.
Just a year ago, the idea of a Korean expatriate delivering presentations directly in Vietnamese to Vietnamese managers seemed unimaginable.
Everyone, what’s Part 3 all about???????
An ambitious event by the Production Planning Office that brought everyone together:
“Ding Ding Ding!!! Haibina Golden Bell!!!!!!”
While Parts 1 and 2 featured calm presentations on the year’s performance, improvements, and plans for 2014, Part 3—the Haibina Golden Bell—was a festive celebration enjoyed by all.
Answering a Golden Bell question could win you a 42-inch TV! And the grand prize for first place? An incredible trip to Thailand!
With such amazing prizes on the line, the Golden Bell contestants were truly all in!
Deputy Manager Haing prepared the Golden Bell questions, and except for 2–3 staff members assisting with the event, absolutely no one knew the questions beforehand. Under this tight security, the Golden Bell proceeded smoothly.
The Haibina Golden Bell was filled with nonstop laughter and fun in a lively atmosphere! Let’s enjoy lots of photos capturing these joyful moments.
